Special Member Assistance

We Stand Ready to Assist

As Congress continues discussions to ratify a spending bill to fund the federal government, Justice Federal stands ready to offer assistance in the form of a Special Assistance Loan, and deferred payments to employees of the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security, other federal employees, and federal government contractors in the event of a government shutdown.

In the event of a Federal Government Shutdown, the following services will be made available to new and existing Members:

• Special Assistance Loan* up to Member’s net pay for one month with a rate as low as 5.99% APR** for 12 months and option to defer payment for up to 60 days***
• Deferred Loan Payments* on existing Justice Federal Consumer Loans and VISA credit cards. Members requesting and qualifying for a Consumer Loan payment deferment may obtain a deferment up to 30 days. Based on the length of the Federal Government shutdown, Members may request an additional 30-day deferment***
• Mortgage Assistance* may be available, please inquire with a Justice Federal Mortgage Counselor

Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is based on evaluation of applicant's creditworthiness. Your actual APR will be stated and disclosed at the time of disbursement. Example of repayment terms: 12 monthly payments of $86.26 per $1,000 borrowed. Pay stub required.
