Employee Benefits

Health / Dental / Vision Insurance
Justice Federal offers a national network PPO health, dental, and vision insurance plan to employees. Employees are eligible on the first day of the month following their date of hire.

Flexible Spending Accounts
We offer both Health and Dependent Care accounts. By enrolling in one or both of these accounts, employees can pay for eligible, uninsured health and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Life Insurance
Coverage is provided equaling twice an employee’s annual salary.

401K Plan
Our 401K plan was established to provide retirement benefits for employees. Justice Federal believes in making an investment in our employees. To prove it, we adopted a Safe Harbor 401K Plan with an established matching program. Employees are eligible to participate in the 401K at the beginning of the first day of the month, following six months of service.

PTO — Personal Time Off
This benefit is intended to provide maximum flexibility for the use of leave and may be used for any reasons such as vacation, illness, or personal time.

Education
Justice Federal supports its employees in gaining additional education through seminars and college degrees. Employees who have completed one year of service and are in good standing may be eligible for reimbursement of job or industry related classes.

Computer Loans
Employees who have been with Justice Federal at least six months may be eligible to apply for an interest free computer loan for the purchase of a home computer, equipment, software, and/or upgrades.

Communications Services Representative

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Communications Services Representative to deliver professional service while providing product and service support through telephone interaction. The selected candidate will respond to questions, process transactions, and assist members and potential members in understanding and utilizing Credit Union products and services.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Promote quality service to membership while adhering to credit union guidelines and procedures.
  • • Process member requests to include but not limited to withdrawals, transfers, and account openings via the telephone.
  • • Assist members and resolve issues with accounts, loans, and other Justice FCU products and services.
  • • Provide detailed information by phone, fax, mail, or Internet concerning credit union products and services.
  • • Conduct loan interviews, gather information for loan decisions, and enter data into on-line loan system.
  • • Actively cross-sell all credit union products and services.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • One or more years of call center, customer service, banking, or credit union experience.
  • • Outstanding customer relation skills.
  • • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • • Knowledge of banking or credit union products and services, preferred


Equity Loan Manager

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Home Equity Loan Manager to manage the daily operations of the Equity Loan Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating all Equity related functions to include origination, processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing and servicing.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Direct all Equity lending operational processes and support services.
  • • Ensure compliance with credit union lending policy and assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of all Equity loan products.
  • • Drive loan production volume and meet targeted goals.
  • • Actively identify process improvements and implement these efficiencies within the workflow.
  • • Remain current on all Equity related regulations and changes.
  • • Develop departmental procedures and quality control standard reports.
  • • Exercise authority as a loan officer, adhering to all policies and procedures.
  • • Coordinate appeal committee reviews and communicate decisions to appropriate parties.
  • • Responsible for Equity loan adjustments research and resolution.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • • Three to five years progressively responsible experience in mortgage lending (equity loans)and prior experience in a Credit Union setting preferred.
  • • Must be licensed or be able to obtain licensing from NMLS.


Controller

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Controller to provide leadership and coordination of Justice Federal’s accounting and budget management functions.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Monitors and analyzes monthly operating results against budget, and proactively communicate and address budgetary issues with Senior Management.
  • • Ensures that investment and daily cash management activities are properly recorded, and that any liquidity matters are discussed with the EVP/CFO in a timely manner.
  • • Ensures timely and accurate financial data; ensuring financial reports are prepared in accordance with GAAP and NCUA regulations and that all general ledger and subsidiary accounts are reconciled according to a defined schedule and are in compliance with GAAP and NCUA.
  • • Ensures that all ATM, ACH, Federal Reserve and Share Draft activities are completed according to a defined schedule and are in compliance with all rules and regulations.
  • • Provides data and input for all ALM, product/branch profitability and forecasting analyses.
  • • Monitors and researches new accounting pronouncements and developments from authoritative bodies (FASB, AICPA, NCUA) and identify any financial impact to the Credit Union.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • 5 -10 or more years of accounting, preferably in a credit union or similar financial institution.
  • • B.S. in Accounting or Finance. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • • Working knowledge of GAAP, regulatory practices and automated accounting systems
  • • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, financial data, regulations, pronouncements, correspondence and memorandums.
  • • Strong writing skills including the ability to prepare extensive written documentations on financial reports, financial highlights and minutes of any management meeting. Ability to prepare white papers on accounting issues; written reports on budgets, plans, correspondence and reports.
  • • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to staff and management.

Financial Services Representative

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Financial Services Representative to provide and promote a variety of services to assist members with account transactions, including opening new shares and loans, performing account maintenance, cross-selling credit union products and services, and processing teller transactions.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Identifying members’ needs and promoting quality service to membership, while adhering to credit union policies and procedures.
  • • Informing members about other credit union services and promoting applicable products/services.
  • • Identifying member needs and converting those needs into sales opportunities.
  • • Opening new accounts, researching account problems; setting up and disbursing loans.
  • • Processing daily account transactions, such as withdrawals, deposits, account transfers, allotments, Visa/JLOC advances and bank wires.
  • • Conducting loan interviews; providing information that will both be beneficial to the member and the credit union.
  • • Maintaning security measures at all times, including but not limited to negotiable instruments, member information, and computer systems.
  • • Performing the duties of other positions as required this may include performing teller functions.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • Minimum of two years of credit union or banking experience is required. The selected candidate will show demonstrated skill in customer service, professionalism, and cash handling ability. Those with professional, positive attitudes are encouraged to apply.

Part-time Financial Services Representative

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Financial Services Representative to provide and promote a variety of services to assist members with account transactions, including opening new shares and loans, performing account maintenance, cross-selling credit union products and services, and processing teller transactions. Hours for the position are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Identifying members’ needs and promoting quality service to membership, while adhering to credit union policies and procedures.
  • • Informing members about other credit union services and promoting applicable products/services.
  • • Identifying member needs and converting those needs into sales opportunities.
  • • Opening new accounts, researching account problems; setting up and disbursing loans.
  • • Processing daily account transactions, such as withdrawals, deposits, account transfers, allotments, Visa/JLOC advances and bank wires.
  • • Conducting loan interviews; providing information that will both be beneficial to the member and the credit union.
  • • Maintaining security measures at all times, including but not limited to negotiable instruments, member information, and computer systems.
  • • Performing the duties of other positions as required this may include performing teller functions.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
Minimum of two years of credit union or banking experience is required. The selected candidate will show demonstrated skill in customer service, professionalism, and cash handling ability. Those with professional, positive attitudes are encouraged to apply.

Teller

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Teller to provide over-the counter transactions to members and promote Credit Union services.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Processes transactions to include deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and fund transfers.
  • • Cross-sells Credit Union products and services to all members.
  • • Completes transactions in a timely, accurate and courteous manner.
  • • Alerts management of suspicious account activity.
  • • Provides quality service while adhering to policies and procedures.
  • • Maintains security measures at all times, including but not limited to negotiable instruments, member information, and computer system.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
Minimum 1 year cash handling and customer service experience. credit union and/or banking experience preferred.

Financial Services Representative
