Employee Benefits

Health / Dental / Vision Insurance
Justice Federal offers a national network PPO health, dental, and vision insurance plan to employees. Employees are eligible on the first day of the month following their date of hire.

Flexible Spending Accounts
We offer both Health and Dependent Care accounts. By enrolling in one or both of these accounts, employees can pay for eligible, uninsured health and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Life Insurance
Coverage is provided equaling twice an employee’s annual salary.

401K Plan
Our 401K plan was established to provide retirement benefits for employees. Justice Federal believes in making an investment in our employees. To prove it, we adopted a Safe Harbor 401K Plan with an established matching program. Employees are eligible to participate in the 401K at the beginning of the first day of the month, following six months of service.

PTO — Personal Time Off
This benefit is intended to provide maximum flexibility for the use of leave and may be used for any reasons such as vacation, illness, or personal time.

Education
Justice Federal supports its employees in gaining additional education through seminars and college degrees. Employees who have completed one year of service and are in good standing may be eligible for reimbursement of job or industry related classes.

Computer Loans
Employees who have been with Justice Federal at least six months may be eligible to apply for an interest free computer loan for the purchase of a home computer, equipment, software, and/or upgrades.

Financial Services Representative

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Financial Services Representative to provide and promote a variety of services to assist members with account transactions, including opening new shares and loans, performing account maintenance, cross-selling credit union products and services, and processing teller transactions.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Identifying members’ needs and promoting quality service to membership, while adhering to credit union policies and procedures.
  • • Informing members about other credit union services and promoting applicable products/services.
  • • Identifying member needs and converting those needs into sales opportunities.
  • • Opening new accounts, researching account problems; setting up and disbursing loans.
  • • Processing daily account transactions, such as withdrawals, deposits, account transfers, allotments, Visa/JLOC advances and bank wires
  • • Conducting loan interviews; providing information that will both be beneficial to the member and the credit union.

Online Account Representative

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks an Online Account Representative to assist with the administration of the on-line account process: including conducting prospective member interviews, gathering information for account decision and inputting data into the on-line account system.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Assists in ensuring the accurate tracking of on-line membership applications.
  • • Conducts perspective member interview, gathers information for account decisions, and inputs data into on-line account system.
  • • Conducts loan interviews, gathers information for loan decisions, and enters data into on-line loan system.
  • • Assists members in resolving problems or issues with their accounts, or Justice FCU products and services
  • • Informs members and perspective members about credit union services, identify member’s area of need, and promotes applicable product or service.
  • • Assists in notifying members and/or perspective members that issues are resolved in a timely manner through precise and effective written or oral communications.
  • • Assists in conducting routine audits, practices effective controls, and ensures that overall security of on-line account information is maintained

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • 6 months to one year of customer service, banking or credit union experience preferred.


Communications Services Representative

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Communications Services Representative to deliver professional service while providing product and service support through telephone interaction. The selected candidate will respond to questions, process transactions, and assist members and potential members in understanding and utilizing Credit Union products and services.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Promote quality service to membership while adhering to credit union guidelines and procedures.
  • • Process member requests to include but not limited to withdrawals, transfers, and account openings via the telephone.
  • • Assist members and resolve issues with accounts, loans, and other Justice FCU products and services.
  • • Provide detailed information by phone, fax, mail, or Internet concerning credit union products and services.
  • • Conduct loan interviews, gather information for loan decisions, and enter data into on-line loan system.
  • • Actively cross-sell all credit union products and services.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • One or more years of call center, customer service, banking, or credit union experience.
  • • Outstanding customer relation skills.

Mortgage Counselor

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a full-time Mortgage Counselor to assist members with the mortgage loan process. Responsibilities include assisting with loan origination, processing, and loan closings.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Interviews members applying for first mortgages.
  • • Assists members with completion of mortgage applications.
  • • Processes first and second mortgage applications to include: ordering credit reports, ordering appraisals, ordering title search and requesting verification of deposit, employment information, and other information deemed necessary to make an underwriting decision and to disburse of funds.
  • • Ensures prompt follow-up on requested documentation to guarantee timely underwriting decisions.
  • • Maintains oral and written communication with members to ensure an orderly process.
  • • Prepares loan packages for underwriting.
  • • Helps coordinate loan closings and performs post-closing audits.
  • • Ensures compliance with federally regulated disclosure requirements.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • 2 years mortgage processing/closing experience.
  • • Minimum one (1) year of credit union and or other related financial experience desired.


eServices Technology Coordinator

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a eServices Technology Coordinator to provide organizational support for all internal and external products to include but not limited to Online and Mobile Banking applications, Synergy and select business process applications.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Provides consultative support to end-users on custom applications by assisting with requirements definition, work flow design, test plans and implementation plans.
  • • Provides email, IM, phone and remote desktop support on eService questions and issues
  • • Works with the Training department to develop and maintain employee knowledge and usage of eServices
  • • Project Management for new products and services as well as enhancement on existing services
  • • Ensures service level agreements with Justice FCU’s authorized business partners are met
  • • Responsible for Synergy, eStatements and Online Bill Pay daily/ monthly processing
  • • Responsible for compiling data for monthly reports on eService products
  • • Synergy Administration – Responsible for the routine operation of the Synergy application, trouble shooting, monitoring, compliance and scheduling and/or installation all patches and releases in coordination with the IT department
  • • eBranch and Mobile Administration – Responsible for the routine operation of the online and mobile applications, monitoring, trouble shooting, compliance and scheduling and management of all releases

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Sciences or related field or equivalent work experience
  • • Experience with self-service channels in financial services arena preferred
  • • Experience with system administration preferred.
  • • 3 to 5 years’ experience with a financial services organization


Programmer Analyst

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Programmer Analyst to code, test, debug; implement and upgrade software applications in accordance with set policies and procedures. Oversee use of Credit Union database system to identify development opportunities.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Develop, implement, and maintain application using approved programming languages & databases
  • • Implement changes to applications and software parameters to maintain current functionality, correct problems, and modify or enhance application functions
  • • Participate in the design and selection of application software
  • • Query end user for development inputs, test application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness to achieve desired results
  • • Analyze reasons for failure and revise application/reports and procedures as needed
  • • Utilize helpdesk software to track work requests and to provide timely updates to ongoing work requests
  • •Train users and validate successful ability to use and run application

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • Comprehensive knowledge in structured programming methodology
  • • Knowledge of Access, SQL, HTML and Sharepoint
  • • 1-3 years programming experience including database management
  • • B.S. in Computer Science or other related field preferred
  • • Symitar (Episys) Repgen/PowerOn or other Credit Union Core programming experience highly desirable


Training Specialist

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Training Specialist to initiate, design, coordinate, and facilitate New Hire Orientation Training, manage the Knowledge Based Performance Program, and assist the Training Manager with needs assessment, training development, training facilitation, and training evaluation.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Coordinate, and facilitate New Hire Orientation training.
  • • Provide developmental and/or remedial employee training where needed.
  • • Under the supervision of the Training Manage, write and maintain New Hire Orientation training materials to ensure that all information is current.
  • • Maintain training records during New Hire Orientation and communicate the progress of all participants to their supervising managers.
  • • Coordinate and facilitate Knowledge Based Performance programs.
  • • Write, maintain, and update all Knowledge Based Performance training materials to ensure that all information is current with credit union policies and procedures.
  • • Coordinate the scheduling, technology usage and participation for Knowledge Based Performance. Oversee and ensure compliance with KBP policies for all participants.
  • • Maintain training records for all employees enrolled in the Knowledge Based Performance program ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • • Develop and maintain a detailed method to ensure that a high level of knowledge learned is used on the job. Manage the program, following Knowledge Based Performance policies.
  • • Assist with employee relations programs in the Human Resources Department.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • Minimum of 2 year of Credit Union or banking experience required.
  • • Member service experience highly desired.
  • • Previous training experience desired.
  • • Symitar knowledge desired.

Hours for the position are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Identifying members’ needs and promoting quality service to membership, while adhering to credit union policies and procedures.
  • • Informing members about other credit union services and promoting applicable products/services.
  • • Identifying member needs and converting those needs into sales opportunities.
  • • Opening new accounts, researching account problems; setting up and disbursing loans.
  • • Processing daily account transactions, such as withdrawals, deposits, account transfers, allotments, Visa/JLOC advances and bank wires.
  • • Conducting loan interviews; providing information that will both be beneficial to the member and the credit union.

Must be able to secure multiple clearances in order to gain access to the various branches.

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Teller to provide over-the counter transactions to members and promote Credit Union services.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Represents the Credit Union in a courteous, professional manner. Provides prompt, efficient and accurate service in processing transactions.
  • • Attains and maintains knowledge of all Credit Union services to support cross-selling to all members.
  • • Provides quality service while adhering to policies and procedures.
  • • Is accountable for maintaining security measures at all times, including but not limited to negotiable instruments, member information, and computer system.
  • • Completes transactions in a timely, accurate and courteous manner.
  • • Balances teller drawer each day.
  • • Makes management aware of information concerning suspicious accounts.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • Minimum of 1 years if cash handling, customer service, or credit union/banking experience preferred.
  • • The ability to obtain government security clearance.
