Employee Benefits

Health / Dental / Vision Insurance
Justice Federal offers a national network PPO health, dental, and vision insurance plan to employees. Employees are eligible on the first day of the month following their date of hire.

Flexible Spending Accounts
We offer both Health and Dependent Care accounts. By enrolling in one or both of these accounts, employees can pay for eligible, uninsured health and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Life Insurance
Coverage is provided equaling twice an employee’s annual salary.

401K Plan
Our 401K plan was established to provide retirement benefits for employees. Justice Federal believes in making an investment in our employees. To prove it, we adopted a Safe Harbor 401K Plan with an established matching program. Employees are eligible to participate in the 401K at the beginning of the first day of the month, following six months of service.

PTO — Personal Time Off
This benefit is intended to provide maximum flexibility for the use of leave and may be used for any reasons such as vacation, illness, or personal time.

Education
Justice Federal supports its employees in gaining additional education through seminars and college degrees. Employees who have completed one year of service and are in good standing may be eligible for reimbursement of job or industry related classes.

Computer Loans
Employees who have been with Justice Federal at least six months may be eligible to apply for an interest free computer loan for the purchase of a home computer, equipment, software, and/or upgrades.

Communications Services Representative

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Communications Services Representative to deliver professional service while providing product and service support through telephone interaction. The selected candidate will respond to questions, process transactions, and assist members and potential members in understanding and utilizing Credit Union products and services.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Promote quality service to membership while adhering to credit union guidelines and procedures.
  • • Process member requests to include but not limited to withdrawals, transfers, and account openings via the telephone.
  • • Assist members and resolve issues with accounts, loans, and other Justice FCU products and services.
  • • Provide detailed information by phone, fax, mail, or Internet concerning credit union products and services.
  • • Conduct loan interviews, gather information for loan decisions, and enter data into on-line loan system.
  • • Actively cross-sell all credit union products and services.
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • One or more years of call center, customer service, banking, or credit union experience.
  • • Outstanding customer relation skills.
  • • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • • Knowledge of banking or credit union products and services, preferred


Network Support Specialist

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Network Support Specialist to support the stable operation of the in-house computer network. This includes planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all network hardware, software and communication links while ensuring minimal network downtime. This position will also diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and support where required.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Provide technical assistance and training to end-users regarding the use of hardware or software via telephone, remote desktop or on-site support.
  • • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, software, networked peripheral devices, cabling, and networking hardware and software products.
  • • Maintain security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
  • • Maintain all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSs.
  • • Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
  • • Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding network connectivity problems.
  • • Perform system backups and recovery.
  • • Consults with users to determine best hardware and software configurations to meet user needs and requirement.
  • • Maintains inventory of replacement parts and spare hardware necessary to respond to user problem.
  • • Maintains hardware maintenance schedule and performs periodic preventive maintenance on all Justice FCU hardware.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience.
  • • One to two years’ Microsoft network &/or desktop support experience preferred.
  • • Certifications: A+ and Network+, are preferred.
  • • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures of a financial institution’s LAN/WAN.

Business Development Officer

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Business Development Officer to create excellent member experiences by implementing and tracking programs to attract new business and deepen relationships with existing SEG/Partners.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Cultivates relationships and initiates activities to market Credit Union product and services with SEGs/Partners/Existing Members.
  • • Negotiates with companies, associations, and organizations for new SEG membership; completes documentation and submits to Supervisor for approval, and then to NCUA for approval of charter inclusion/amendment.
  • • Identifies cross-sell opportunities and services to SEGs and Member account holders through in-person events, phone, written correspondence, and external sales calls.
  • • Schedules and coordinates on-site membership visits and seminars with SEGs/Partners.
  • • Conducts presentations to SEG/Partner employees/members and secures relationships with key personnel.
  • • Represents the Credit Union at various functions, field of membership related training and orientation programs, conferences; trade shows, benefit fairs, etc.
  • • Monitors, tracks, and reports new account growth, attrition results, and roadblocks; Provides feedback regarding SEG and account holder concerns, and product acceptance. Recommends solutions to problems, and product and service enhancements.
  • • Maintains high product knowledge and keeps abreast of market trends; aware of legal and regulatory compliance in the credit union industry as it relates to advertising and field of membership.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • • Two (2) to five (5) years of work experience with at least three (3) year’s specialized experience.
  • • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written.
  • • Strong presentation skills and public speaking skills.
  • • Exceptional sales skills; self-motivated, ability to manage time and deadlines.

Mortgage Counselor

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a full-time Mortgage Counselor to assist members with the mortgage loan process. Responsibilities include assisting with loan origination, processing, and loan closings.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Interviews members applying for first mortgages.
  • • Assists members with completion of mortgage applications.
  • • Processes first and second mortgage applications to include: ordering credit reports, ordering appraisals, ordering title search and requesting verification of deposit, employment information, and other information deemed necessary to make an underwriting decision and to disburse of funds.
  • • Ensures prompt follow-up on requested documentation to guarantee timely underwriting decisions.
  • • Maintains oral and written communication with members to ensure an orderly process.
  • • Prepares loan packages for underwriting.
  • • Helps coordinate loan closings and performs post-closing audits.
  • • Ensures compliance with federally regulated disclosure requirements.
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
  • • 2 years mortgage processing/closing experience.
  • • Minimum one (1) year of credit union and or other related financial experience desired.

Part-time Financial Services Representative

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Financial Services Representative to provide and promote a variety of services to assist members with account transactions, including opening new shares and loans, performing account maintenance, cross-selling credit union products and services, and processing teller transactions. Hours for the position are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Identifying members’ needs and promoting quality service to membership, while adhering to credit union policies and procedures.
  • • Informing members about other credit union services and promoting applicable products/services.
  • • Identifying member needs and converting those needs into sales opportunities.
  • • Opening new accounts, researching account problems; setting up and disbursing loans.
  • • Processing daily account transactions, such as withdrawals, deposits, account transfers, allotments, Visa/JLOC advances and bank wires.
  • • Conducting loan interviews; providing information that will both be beneficial to the member and the credit union.
  • • Maintaining security measures at all times, including but not limited to negotiable instruments, member information, and computer systems.
  • • Performing the duties of other positions as required this may include performing teller functions.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:
Minimum of two years of credit union or banking experience is required. The selected candidate will show demonstrated skill in customer service, professionalism, and cash handling ability. Those with professional, positive attitudes are encouraged to apply.

Regional Financial Services Representative

Justice Federal Credit Union seeks a Regional Financial Services Representative to travel to various branches to provide and promote a variety of services to assist members with account transactions, including opening new shares and loans, performing account maintenance, cross-selling credit union products and services, and processing teller transactions. Must be able to secure multiple clearances in order to gain access to the various branches.

Duties for this position include:

  • • Identifying members’ needs and promoting quality service to membership, while adhering to credit union policies and procedures.
  • • Informing members about other credit union services and promoting applicable products/services. .
  • • Identifying member needs and converting those needs into sales opportunities.
