Attention Guardian First FCU Members
Important Guardian First Credit Card Information
Guardian First MasterCard Credit Cards will be deactivated at 12:01 A.M., EST October 30, 2019
Your current balance will be transferred to your new Justice Federal Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card at a 0% introductory annual percentage rate for a period of 6 months from the transfer date of October 30, 2019.
At the end of the intro rate, the annual percentage rate will be 11.90%. You will receive the intro rate until April 30, 2020 regardless if you have a current balance on your Guardian First Card.
Remit your Guardian First payment for the September 2019 statement as normally scheduled.
Your new statement billing period will close the 20th of each month and your new payment will be due the 17th of each month. All returned checks will incur a fee of $27 per check, and late payments will incur a fee of $27.
Should you choose to opt out of receiving the new card, please call 817-534-8707 prior to September 27, 2019. Your balance will be grandfathered at your current terms until your account is paid in full. However, your account will be closed for purchases and advances as of October 30, 2019 and you will not receive a Justice FCU Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card.
Your new Justice Federal Visa Platinum Rewards Card will soon be on its way!
Your new Justice Federal Credit Union Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card will arrive the week of October 14, 2019. For added security, a second mailing will follow with your Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Contact us immediately by phone: 817.534.8707 or mail: Justice Federal Credit Union, Federal Bureau of Prisons-Fort Worth Branch, 7B Carlson Court, Fort Worth, TX 76119 if your address has recently changed, to ensure receipt of your credit card and PIN; or if you have not received your card by October 25, 2019.
On October 30, 2019, after 9:00 A.M., EST, you may –
- Activate your new card. To activate your card from your home phone, call the phone number that appears on the activation sticker.
- Update your automatic recurring transactions with Merchants. If you have automatic recurring transactions with merchants on your current Guardian First MasterCard Credit Card, update your Merchants with your new card number and expiration date. Failure to do so will result in monthly recurring transactions not being honored.
- Change your assigned PIN, if you opt to do so, refer to the instructions accompanying your new PIN.

Again, remember to look for your new card in the mail! Activate and begin using your new Justice Federal Visa Platinum Reward Credit Card on October 30, 2019.
